The 2024 Emmy nominees were unveiled on July 17, setting records for streamers and the drama category.
The Japanese period epic Shogun made history with 25 nominations, the most of any series this year. It follows Squid Game as the second non-English-language show to be recognized in the best drama category.
Across all genres,Netflix leads nomineeswith a total of 107 noms (across 35 programs), followed by FX with 93 (nine programs), HBO with 91 (29 programs) and Apple TV+ with 72 (16 programs). In order to be eligible for the 2024 Emmys, television programming had to air between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024.

The Crown
Peter Morgan’s Emmy-winning Netflix drama starts its sixth and last season with a four-episode arc followed by the final six installments that bring the British royal family into the mid-2000s, ending on the wedding of Charles and Camilla. Hijack
